On Thursday, March 19, 2026, Prof. Katsuya Iijima, Director of the Institute of Gerontology and Professor at the Institute for Future Initiatives, visited our university and toured the Well-being Nursing Laboratory of our department.

During the visit, we introduced our initiatives in device development and research aimed at shaping the future of nursing.

Following the tour, Prof. Iijima delivered a lecture for undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty members of our university. It provided a valuable opportunity to learn about health promotion in an aging society and the future direction of healthcare and nursing.
